The latest cross-border cooperation between COSCO Shipping and Xiaomi has landed in Panama

Recently, COSCO Shipping and Xiaomi officially launched their mobile phone warehouse project in Panama’s PANAPARK Free Trade Zone. Under the joint witness of both parties, the first batch of Xiaomi phones were successfully put into storage and launched, marking a new stage of cooperation between the two sides in the Americas region.
In the future, this mobile phone warehouse will serve as an important distribution center for Xiaomi’s coverage of the Central and South American markets, mainly responsible for core functions such as storage, sorting, packaging, labeling, and air freight distribution of mobile phone products. After the project is put into operation, it will significantly improve the efficiency of the supply chain and ensure that Xiaomi phones are delivered more efficiently and quickly to markets in various countries in the region.
Since 2021, COSCO Shipping has partnered with Xiaomi to continuously expand its overseas warehouse business in Panama, winning high recognition from the Xiaomi team for its full chain customized services, which has led to deepening cooperation and steady growth in business volume.
The implementation of this mobile warehouse project will lay a solid foundation for the deep cooperation between the two parties in the Americas region.
The warehouse is located in the PANAPARK Free Trade Zone, adjacent to Panama International Airport, with outstanding location advantages. It can quickly connect with the main highway network, ports, and airport facilities in the country, and enjoys the advantages of sound bonded policies and systems. It is suitable for the operation of goods that require high time distribution and tariff optimization, such as electronic products, automotive spare parts, and high value-added consumer goods.
The opening of this warehouse has further improved COSCO Shipping’s warehousing resource layout in Panama, significantly enhancing its comprehensive warehousing service capabilities and better meeting the diverse warehousing and supply chain needs of customers.
