On May 16, Maersk announced that Maersk Terminal’s inland service business will be integrated into Maersk Logistics and Services business on August 1, 2019, aiming to accelerate the development of logistics and service business and provide customers with a wider range of services. , seamlessly linked to a variety of logistics products and services.
The inland service portfolio includes a network of global inland terminals with 36 business units covering more than 100 locations worldwide. For shipping customers, inland services mainly include yard storage, container facility maintenance, repair and transportation. For land business customers, inland services provide customers with integrated supply chains, transportation solutions, bulk collection, warehouses, yards, temperature control operations and temperature controlled storage. Maersk hopes to lay the groundwork for business growth by bringing together all of the operational skills and capabilities in logistics services to differentiate itself from the delivery of logistics and service offerings. To date, Maersk Inland Services has provided a range of services to shipping customers and land business customers.
