Maersk China and Fosun High Tech sign strategic cooperation memorandum

On March 25, 2025, Maersk China (hereinafter referred to as “Maersk”) signed a strategic cooperation memorandum with Shanghai Fosun High Tech (Group) Co., Ltd. in Shanghai. Around Fosun’s globalization strategy, both parties plan to cooperate in optimizing Fosun’s global supply chain and work together to help Chinese companies expand their overseas business. In addition, the two companies will jointly advocate for promoting sustainable development and fulfilling social responsibility. Ms. Ding Zejuan, President of Maersk Greater China, and Mr. Li Haifeng, Special Advisor to Fosun International and Chairman of Fosun Foundation, signed this memorandum of cooperation as representatives of both companies. Mr. Vincent Clerc, CEO of Maersk Group, and Mr. Guo Guangchang, Chairman of Fosun International, witnessed the signing.

Maersk will assist Fosun and its customers in realizing their globalization strategy: Maersk will provide supply chain services covering global shipping, air freight, multimodal transport, warehousing and distribution according to Fosun and its customers’ globalization development strategy, assist Fosun and its customers in optimizing and operating end-to-end supply chains, and provide support for their overseas market expansion. Among them, the soon to be put into operation Maersk Shanghai Lingang Comprehensive Logistics Flagship Warehouse will provide strong and customized warehousing and logistics support.
Jointly promote ESG development: Both parties will explore cooperation in the fields of environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG), and provide support for social development through a series of joint actions in economic, social, and environmental improvement.
